So, is Hank a warlock? Is he just onboard with the whole witch thing? Are there male witches?

I don't know what episodes you've watched but the show clearly has some male witch called warlocks. The first being Quentin and the other guy in the flash back on the Council. And possible others could be Spanding. Here is a quote from Murphy himself:
So there are male witches in this coven?Yes, there are male witches who are descendants of Salem and then there are other sects we get into later in the series of male witches who are not of the Salem tribe but other breeds of witches. Not necessarily warlocks.
So there warlocks. Though I doubt that Hank could be warlock because he asked Cordelia if their was anything she could do about their infertility with her magic. So he obviously knows about magic, her powers and that of the others but doesn't have it himself. Maybe he is the son of a witch or warlock or he could be one those other "warlocks".
There are male witches, though I wish there were more on the show than one. That said the witches in general are a dying breed so...
There is a man in the council.
American Horror Story: Coven is a mini-series that celebrates womanhood.Everything a woman will and must experience is basically the theme in the plot. It is then logical for the story to be bias on one gender.
I am not denying the fact that there are male witches, given the nature of this anthology's universe. We should not be hasty in deducing the probability of the male characaters being the speculated warlocks.
There is however, a known male witch, Quentin of the Witches' Council. Some might also agree to me that he's more in touch to his feminine side by judging the way he speak and act compared to other male characters.
Hank is most likely a witch hunter who made a deal with Marie Laveau. What deal is it is yet to be revealed but most lkely it involves tracking down and killing identified witches.
Spalding, like the men who accompany the members of the Council is a normal human servant to the witches. If he really is a warlock, the people inside the coven should have already knew this.
Kyle is just tangled into the story when he was killed because of Madison's anger and then resurrected because of Zoe's interest in him.
Luke is a sheltered son of a Catholic mother. If his mother already had an idea that her son might have magical powers, she should have been more careful not to show her son to other people especially to their neighbors.
I'm not trying to burst the bubble of those who believe that any of the current male characters is probably a warlock. Just don't keep your hopes up.Teasers and speculations from people involved in the series are as good as nothing until it is clearly stated in the broadcasted episode.

Ryan has already confirmed that there will be warlocks and other types of male witches. Ryan is the creator of the show. He's tipped off viewers continuously in every season, and has never lied. So there's no reason to believe that he would blatantly say "Yes there will be male witches" only to then not include them.
He's done the same thus far this season, and everything he said has coincided with what is aired. It really makes no since to assume that he would lie.
The term witch can refer to both male and female. A warlock is an "oath-breaker"
Warlock has only ever meant Oath Breaker in English, old english to be exact, and it's now considered an obsolete definition of the word, it is currently used to define male witches. In Scot and French it means Male Witch or Sorcerer. Both predate the word being used in old English. Find dictionaries from France, Wales or Scotland and you will see a different definition and oath breaker will not be listed except under old English.

Well now we know that Hank is a witchhunter and an actual oath-breaker of sorts, given that he's broken his oath to Cordelia as a husband, to his father as a son (by invading Marie Laveau's house under orders not to), and to the Delphi Trust in general by exposing himself as a witchhunter.
I want to see warlocks in action!
