Story[]
Brock is coming out of a meeting when his girlfriend, Coco, calls him to tell him to come to Santa Monica airport where a private jet is waiting to take them to safety. Brock watches the news in the lobby in shock as the newscaster announces that a ballistic missile is going to hit Los Angeles and that several cities around the globe have already been destroyed.
Brock gets stuck in traffic on his way to the airport due to the panic and chaos in the city. Coco phones and tells him that he should do whatever he can to get to the airport as soon as possible, leading Brock to abandon his car and begin running, telling her he will be ten minutes. However, a group of men at the airport arrives to try and steal the plane, forcing Coco to board it and leave Brock behind, telling him that she is enforcing a clause in their engagement contract that says they can unilaterally end their monogamous relationship at any time before hanging up.
Brock runs through the streets of Santa Monica, witnessing the chaos as people panic. He looks above and sees Coco's plane taking off, yelling at it in rage.[1]
