Cult is the seventh season of the FX horror anthology television series American Horror Story. The season premiered on FX on September 5, 2017. Plot

The fictional city of Brookfield Heights, Michigan is left divided by the 2016 U.S. presidential election and follows a community torn apart by a dangerous cult leader who uses fear as a weapon. Local restaurant owner Ally Mayfair-Richards is utterly distraught by Donald Trump's victory and several of her longstanding phobias, including coulrophobia, hemophobia, and trypophobia, intensify as a result.
