Diana Cross has assisted Sidney Aaron James during the production of television success story of 2015, My Roanoke Nightmare.
Personality and Appearance
Diana is a young woman with a fair complexion, blue eyes, and tawny hair. Unlike her colleague Sidney, Diana proves to have moral principles that she is not willing to set aside for the production of the show.
Diana stays on as Sidney Aaron James's assistant when he announces his intention to film the sequel documentary series, Return to Roanoke: Three Days in Hell. She accompanies Sidney to the property during pre-production to oversee the installation of numerous in-home cameras, gimmicks, and the arrival of the production trailer. A member of the crew calls their attention to a ring of pig fetuses laid out nearby, and Diana grows quietly concerned when the production crew cannot determine who made the arrangement. When a crew member with a chainsaw is decapitated in a freak accident, Sidney is determined to move production forward as scheduled and rejects the idea that the crew should be allowed to take time off. Diana is both spooked by the death and horrified by Sidney's apparent apathy. She refuses to continue her involvement and quits without notice, taking off in her car. As Diana explains her actions to the dashboard camera, she notices the figure of a Roanoke colonist standing in the brush ahead. She slows the car to turn the dashboard camera around, allowing viewers to affirm the sighting and stating that she didn't want to stick around to investigate who it was. Just as Diana begins to pull away, the Piggy Man materializes in the seat behind her and her car flips.
Days later, three viewers of the original My Roanoke Nightmare are trekking through the property in search of the house when they come across a terrified woman resembling Diana Cross. The three friends notice her severe limb and give chase in an attempt to offer their aid to the woman. Sophie Green loses sight of the fleeing woman, but happens across an upturned vehicle in a clearing. She kneels down to peer below, and is the first to discover Diana's body.
- Diana (to Frank)
Let me get this straight. We would get in more trouble for slipping a drink to Monet than if Lee actually murdered somebody?
- Diana (to Sidney)
You saw that video! That wasn't just random!

It's 2:15 on Wednesday, the 12th, and this video will serve as evidence of what really went down on set today. 'Cause I know Sidney's gonna make me look like a crazy bitch. But too much creepy shit has been happening for me not to say anything. God, Sid-- Sid may not see it, but I know something freaky is happening at that place. And you know, I would rather look like a crazy bitch than get killed trying to make this show.
