Peter "FinnWittrock, Jr. (born October 28, 1984) is an American actor.

Biography[]

Wittrock was born in Lenox, Massachusetts, the son of Kate Claire Crowley, a professor of occupational therapy at the University of Southern California and Peter L. Wittrock, an actor. He has a brother named Dylan. On his father's side, he is of Danish, Norwegian, and Austrian ancestry. His acting roles include All My Children (2009-2011) and Unbroken (2014).

On October 18, 2014, Wittrock married his long-time girlfriend and fellow Juilliard graduate, Sarah Roberts, in a private ceremony.In March 2019, the couple had a son, Jude.

Work on American Horror Story[]

Freak Show was Wittrock's first season to appear on American Horror Story as he portrayed Dandy Mott, a disturbing man fascinated by "freaks", for which he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie.

In Hotel, he portrayed model Tristan Duffy and a fictionalized version of Hollywood's divo Rudolph Valentino, both afflicted individuals closely tied to Lady Gaga's Elizabeth. Alongside Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, and Wes Bentley, Wittrock portrays one of the light-eyed dark-haired men who gravitates around the Hotel Cortez.

In Roanoke, Wittrock portrayed the reluctant cannibal Jether Polk in the re-enacted section of the season in a guest-starring capacity.

In 1984, Wittrock was again a guest star as he portrayed Bobby Richter II in the season finale. In February 20201, Ryan Murphy confirmed his return for the tenth installment. Wittrock portrayed struggling scriptwriter Harry Gardner, searching for his "muse" in the first part, "Red Tide".
