Augustus Richard "Gus" Kenworthy (born October 1, 1991) is an English-American freestyle skier and actor. He joined the cast of American Horror Story portraying Chet Clancy in the ninth season, 1984.

Augustus Richard "Gus" Kenworthy was born October 1, 1991. He is an English-American freestyle skier and actor from Telluride, Colorado, who competes in slopestyle, halfpipe and big air. Kenworthy won the silver medal in Men's slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Kenworthy again represented the United States in slopestyle at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, where he qualified for the final.
He appeared in an episode of the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in 2018, but his first acting role is the one in the ninth season of American Horror Story where he was cast in a main role.

Gus Kenworthy starred in the ninth season, titled 1984 as Chet Clancy, an aptly ex-Olympian hunk working at Camp Redwood. This is also his acting debut which sparked online criticism by viewers, both for his alleged inexperience and for playing a straight role.[1]
