isaac Cole Powell (born December 30, 1994) is an American actor.
Biography[]
Born in Greensboro, North Carolina to Terry and Will Powell, a three-time world CrossFit champion. Powell graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with an acting degree in May 2017.
His acting career includes the musicals Legally Blonde at the Barn Dinner Theatre, Newsies and Mamma Mia! with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera and originated the title role in Nikola Tesla Drops the Beat at the Adirondack Theatre Festival in Glens Falls, New York. In November 2020, Powell was cast in Universal Pictures and director Stephen Chbosky's film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen.
Powell is best known for the role of Daniel in the 2017 Broadway revival of the musical Once on This Island and Tony in the 2020 Broadway revival of West Side Story.
Isaac Powell is openly gay and publicly spoke about being of mixed ethnicity in a racist society.[1]
Work on American Horror Story[]
Isaac Powell joined the tenth installment of American Horror Story entitled Double Feature as Troy Lord, a University student tied to extraterrestrial experiments in the second part of the season, "Death Valley".
Powell was among the first names of potential actors returning in the eleventh season. [2] Powell was later confirmed as starring in the role of Theo Graves in the installment titled AHS: NYC.
