Mädchen Amick (born December 12, 1970) is an American actress, best known for playing Shelly Briggs Johnson on the cult television series Twin Peaks and its 1992 prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and Tanya Robertson in Sleepwalkers.
Biography
Mädchen Amick is perhaps best known for playing Shelly Johnson on the cult television series Twin Peaks and its 1992 prequel film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. She also starred as Wendy Beauchamp in the Lifetime supernatural drama series Witches of East End for two seasons (2013–2014). She had a leading role in the prime-time soap Central Park West and the 1998 revival of Fantasy Island. She has had recurring roles in Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, ER, Joey, Gossip Girl, Californication, My Own Worst Enemy, Damages, CSI: NY, and Longmire.
She joined the cast of American Horror Story for its fifth season, named Hotel, in the role of Mrs. Ellison, a mother with an ailing son.[1]
