Talia Thompson is a business partner of Dex Harding. She is a character in Delicate portrayed by Juliana Canfield.

Background

Not much is known about Talia's past. At some point she married her partner Theo and met Dex Harding and his departed wife, Adeline. She and Adeline became best friends, and after her death, she remained close friend of Dex and later Anna Victoria Alcott.

Story

At some point in time, she became Dex Harding's business partner in his art gallery. Prior to a huge show, she joined Dex and Anna out for dinner and during the evening, made comments about not ever wanting children. Weeks passed and she was involved in Dex's new artist showing.

After several apparent stalker situations in NYC, she offered Anna and Dex her spare house in The Hamptons, while also employing her bodyguard, Kamal Aman, to their protection and guard.

Talia is a rich and elegant businesswoman with a snobby demeanor. She is often outspoken and insensitive to those around her.

Talia was a witch and disciple of the Delicate Coven.

• Immortality - Talia is immune to all aging, disease and death due to her pact with the Delicate Coven.
• Potioncraft - Potioncraft is the ability of witches to create/produce mixtures and substances with magical properties. Talia was among one of the witches of the Delicate Coven brewing blood potions.
• Spellcraft - Affinity for casting spells and performing rituals.

Notes

• There has been some confusion around her surname between the book and Delicate season. In the book her surname is 'Donovan', however, her house manager Nicolette Smith, refers to her as 'Miss. Baldwin' in episode four. In episode six, Dex announces her in his speech as 'Mrs. Thompson'. Showrunner, Halley Feiffer, confirmed via her manager that Talia's maiden name was 'Baldwin' and her married name with Theo is 'Thompson', however the timeline of events between Nicolette calling her Miss. Baldwin and Dex calling her 'Mrs. Thompson' was likely a writing error.
